This website seems to be actively managing their list, as it includes today's note that Niko Goodrum cleared waivers.   Reading some of the comments it sounds mostly math-driven where they will classify anyone a candidate if value of expected WAR doesn't match cost of arb guess.   Or consider classifying, in Cody Bellinger's case.

I was surprised to see their Keston Hiura and don't think that one is correct - Cot's shows him not to Arb until 2023, but his tripping a negative value filter at Club 0-3 minimum prices I guess highlights how far he has fallen.    

Anyhow, they don't throw the Orioles' Trey Mancini into the Non-Tender Candidate zone, but they do the Marlins' Jesus Aguilar, and the Nationals' Josh Bell.   If Mancini and Elias find an arbitration avoiding deal in next 10 odd days, or the Orioles ultimately tender, we'll never ever know if Elias is at all considering if the Value is worth the Cost.    There very likely won't be any more NL DH clarity than there is now, as MLB and the MLBPA get ready for a winter of posturing.

I have always been high on Orlando Arica and he seems like a guy we should look at if he is non tendered.  We could put him at second or ss and then Mateo and Urias at 2nd and 3rd respectively.  He still is young and has shown flashes at time to be a solid major league player with a higher ceiling then guys like Martin, Jones, and Fox.
