I’m not comparing Mountcastle to Jones as an overall player.  Just saying he could experience similar growth as a hitter.   Could.

2009 was an offense-friendly year.  His .792 OPS was only good for a 105 OPS+.  He surpassed that 8 times, reaching a career best 125 in 2012.
