Who do you want? Who do we take?

I don't think he'll have to move to LF, at least not when he's young, but it's not a non-zero chance...and the drop off from CF to LF from a def value perspective is massive, and much larger then the drop off in value from having to shift from SS to 3b.

As an aside, his dad was no longer an good CF by 30, but he was elite in his early 20's

I don’t need him here past age 30, so I don’t really care about that.

You are the one bringing it up.  If you want to bring up being civil, don’t be a little bitch about it when I throw it back in your face.

Either abide by what you are preaching or stop crying about it.

You crack me up.   The only one being a little bitch is you.  You keep crying and whining and talking like a little boy.   All I said was try acting civil but you can't.   It's like asking Jacob Berry to play SS.

I’ll be watching Collier on the cape. If he hits well there, he probably becomes my #1. Defensive value as a potential 3b, and he’ll have hit at a higher level at a younger age, and with wood

He has become really interesting to me.  He is a full year younger than Jones and Holliday.  That means a lot.

Agreed.  I'm a Jones believer, but Collier is really intriguing to me too.  Looks like Cape league has started and Collier has started playing (got a late start).

I saw him go oppo on a double in a scrimmage on the Cape.   My biggest concern/question with Collier is power potential and ability to turn on the ball.   He's not interesting (to me) unless he has big time power potential.

Another question.   If Collier ceiling is a good hitting 3B with some power, what advantage is there in taking him over Brooks Lee who profiles as a good hitting 3B with some power?    Brooks Lee is more of a sure thing.    I'd have to believe that Collier has a much higher ceiling in order for me to take him.

Doesn't sound like much of a chance but he sounds like he'd be an above average 3B or a solid 2B.   He hit 6 homers in 88 AB's with a wood bat on the Cape last year which is always a good sign.  46 walks to 28 strikeouts this year as a junior.  Switch hitter.  Makeup is plus.    I think Jones is my #1 choice but I'm starting to feel like Brooks Lee is my #2.     The first name is a bonus!!!

For me: Jones, Holiday, Lee, Green, Parada. Would be very upset with Berry and disappointed but not irate on Collier.

Want: Jones (hope everyone is right)

Take: Holliday

I think there is a solid shot we take Druw, but right now my guess would be that Holliday is more likely. I'd imagine our willingness to pay the asking price for Jones will come down to how advanced we think the bat is.

I could sell myself on any of Jones, Holliday, Johnson, Collier or Green. Any would be exciting to add to the system and could end up the best player in the draft. Unsure of what my order of preference is -- changing by the day.

I will be disappointed if we take Lee, though it is potentially justifiable if we view him as a SS.

I will throw something and weave a tapestry of profanity if we take Berry. No possible justification there.

I like Brooks Lee, but I am very concerned about his history of injuries in high school and college :

Lee’s only major concern is his health. He missed time with multiple back injuries in high school and had hamstring surgery as a true freshman. His physical, maxed-out frame raises concerns about how his body will age.
