Very happy with this pick.  He was both the guy I wanted the O's to pick and the guy I thought they would pick.  The only other time I can remember being able to say that was Adley.   Well, maybe Ben McDonald, too, but my memory on that is a bit hazy.  LOL.   I'm impressed by everything I've seen and read about Holliday.  5-tool player.

I am not complaining about the pick. I am very happy and believe Jackson Holiday will be a solid ball player. 
But I believe the best player in this draft will end up being Temarr Johnson.

As long as Holliday stays healthier than Seager through his pre-free agency years, then yes you have to be happy as a fan on that comp.

Gotta wonder if they had some idea of a range in which he’d sign for if they picked him. Picking first overall has its advantages and that’s certainly one of them.
