Pretty weird that the other shoe never dropped with regard to acquiring Phillips, perhaps another deal Elias had in mind didn't come to fruition?

Or maybe Hays is going on the IL for his wrist and Brett is meant to help cover for him?

I'm shocked..... The only reason I can think of for not trading Contreras is they plan on offering QO and didn't value any trade packages higher than the comp pick? Or maybe they want to take a run at re-signing him? I agree, weird.
