“First Name” players

On the other end of the spectrum there are some players for which both names are always said.

There's a soccer  player in Europe named Dennis Odoi. And always, always the commentators refer to him as "Dennis Odoi".  It's the weirdest thing and I wonder how something like that comes to be.

Should Buck count since it's his nickname?

Is it true that he got the nickname because he walked around the locker room buck naked?

Thats what I heard on a Tigers telecast. That Buck got his name from always wearing a towel and nothing else in the clubhouse.

Come way may, I think Rougned Odor has already cemented himself in Orioles history on a first name basis.    The chance we have another Rougned on the roster seems pretty slim to me.  Unless maybe he has a kid and names him Rougned Jr. and he somehow ends up on the Orioles.

I think the same goes for some guys with odd names like Chance.

From the hall-of-shame list I would also nominate:
Albert
Rafael
Sidney
