I'm surprised that I have to point out that my comparison was based on their relative abilities to pitch. Even the Yankees haven't ruled out bringing Chapman back in the next round of the postseason, if they make it that far.

Of course, I fondly remember Britton and hope he can recuperate, but no Yankee fan I know is counting on it.

I just figured the recent news was reason enough to revisit the conversation.

Not exactly common for a guy to not show up for practice (or be in the same State as the rest of the team) before a playoff game.

I also think it does reflect on what Chapman is as a pitcher.  I think he was in danger of being left off the playoff roster even if hadn't gone AWOL.

It's not a conversation when one side refuses or is incapable of understanding what the other has said.
