I believe Hays pinch running tonight would take away any back dating to Tuesday opportunity - would guess that means decent confidence another 24-48 hours should do it.     He had four hits in the Saturday DH but none since.

With Hays' hand still recovering and a right handed pitcher on the mound Saturday night, I'm going to presume that it's a safe bet we will see Kyle Stowers get the start in Left Field. (Although McKenna is on a hot streak right now, so there's always a chance we could see him too.)

Urias has never played first in bigs as far as I can tell  .. 7 games at AA-AAA Cardinal system in 2018 and 3 in 2019 it seems

I get that Mateo needs some days off, but with a ground ball pitcher I'd think you'd want the fastest possible lineup out there.
