I think Ortiz would be a better hitter than Urias with regular playing time,  but that's a much harder call than him versus Frazier IMO.

I think we will see him all over the place 2b,Ss,3b, OF depending on match-ups & home v away (prob not any LF in OPACY).  I think they will find a way to get him regular at bats moving forward.   He might take some lumps but he will make an impact by seasons end.

I don’t see other teams wanting Akin even as a throw-in as part of any trade package.

I think Urias has potential to be a super sub that can fill in at any infield position and he hits enough that he won't be a black hole on offense.

That way the Orioles can keep their players fresh over the course of a 162 game season with a player who doesn't hit like Ryan Flaherty.

Ortiz gets sent down, but I do hope this means less of Mateo going forward. 

It probably will be Ortiz, but if it was going to be McKenna or Mateo’s role was about to be reduced, Hyde would still be singing their praises to soften the blow particularly after they both did some good stuff the past two days.

Its good we brought him up now.  We have to let them have a chance to get over the jitters of being in the Major Leagues before October baseball.  Cowser needs to come up for the same reasons soon.

I feel like I’m reading School of Roch on many of these posts.  Wedterburg earned his promotion.  Ortiz has been treated like Lowther 2.0 this year despite being much more capable than Lowther ever was.

McKenna might have bought himself some time with his walk off home run yesterday, but I have to imagine he's out when Cowser gets called up.

Hicks brings more compared to McKenna as a backup outfielder.
