I don’t think I’ve fully wrapped my head around how impressive it really is that the Os are four games up on the Rays after the way the Rays started the season, and how well they’ve been playing recently. It really is something. Regardless of what happens moving forward, it’s an incredible accomplishment.

No doubt. And I don’t think we have to worry one bit about that with this team. If they lose the lead it won’t be because they stopped playing hard, that’s for damn sure.

Yankees lose. They are 7 games out of the wild card race.

I see that the Orioles are at this moment 5 games ahead of Tampa on the loss  side.   That means that they can lose  5 games in a row while Tampa wins all of their games in that time frame,  and we would still be tied with Tampa.  That s/b a good feeling for our guys.

We've played 2 less games than them, so if we lose those games, that's not good.

And if your the Padres you never win more then 3 games in a row.  How that team with all that talent has never won more then 3 in a row all year is just insane.

I feel like we have them. If the Orioles go 12-11 in their final 23 games (with only one of those wins coming in a four game series vs Tampa), the Rays would have to finish the season 16-5 to win the AL East.
