Though he didn’t walk anyone, we saw the non-competitive pitches.

I’m hoping he just focuses on two pitches per batter. Fastball/ change to righties and fastball/slider to lefties. Keep it simple. Throw strikes. Command doesn’t have to be perfect but let’s manage the control.

I know it’s only 2 appearances but since Hall has been called up I think he has looked like what everyone hoped he would. If he keeps it up he will be a huge boost for the pen the rest of the way.

I agree he’s looked good.  It’s mostly an issue of whether his command will be decent consistently.

Not getting a ton of strikeouts but I think they've just told him to fill up the zone and not walk people. His fastball plays as long as he keeps it out of the middle of the plate.
