Sometimes you just have to know when you are owned. It is what it is. Not the way you want to go into a big 4-game series with the Rays.

Maybe the pressure is getting to them? We'll find out because Tampa can pitch and if the Orioles come out looking like they have the last two games it will not be fun at Camden Yards this weekend.

It seems opposing pitchers really don't fear Rutschman as a hitter.  He sees a lot of strikes in the zone.   They don't nibble with him batting.

He is not someone to fear.

He is an opposite field slap hitter.  He very rarely squares up and crushes a ball.  I said this earlier and I said this after the first game of the year.

D is ok but not elite.  I mean let us be real there.

He is a great leader and his teammates like him.  But elite athlete?

No.

I know it’s probably not true but it just feels like it’s been forever since Adley came up with a big hit, especially one for power.

His OBP this month is great but average isn’t. We are really going to need to get him going. Hitting Leadoff is not a good spot for opportunities either.
