Anyone critical of this package is insane. This is an incredible deal. Yes, we all wanted to see Hall succeed in an O’s uniform and you hate to give up an early draft pick but this is one of the best starters in baseball and we will likely have every chance to sign him long term with new ownership.

This is a good deal. I’d like to extend him if possible but with Boras as his agent that’s probably not gonna happen, new ownership or not.

I think Hall is a bit underrated.  He would be a valuable contributor and provide many quality innings in ‘24.  They will need to add a reliever.

Irvin and Urias were going to make the team unless we dealt them away for peanuts. So instead we traded the people that actually had value in Hall and Ortiz. No sense having the prospects be our 6th IF and 4th LHRP

I think we were all pretty big on Hall this year. Sometimes you have to make tough choices and if they think they can get 60+ innings out of Irvin or someone else in the pen then I get it. I do hope they add another relief pitcher as well.
