I just started looking at the list but Soto at #3. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

I laughed at Judge being ranked #2 and after seeing Soto ranked third this is a deliberate troll job to generate outrage and clicks on social media.

ESPN wants MLB fans to be pissed off and talk about this list of “100 best” players.

To be fair, Soto and Judge have the 2nd and 3rd highest projected WAR by many projection systems so I don’t find those 2 ranks out of place.

Insert "some people have a Baltimore inferiority complex" comment here.  I kid only because I enjoy irony.

Judge is a reasonable ranking. He was injured last year and missed 1/3 of the season but was still worth more than 5 wins. We’ve seen how dominant he can be with the 62 HR in 22. He’s a passable CF and a solid RF. I’d still take Betts and Acuna over him, but nobody else.

The issue with Judge is availability, they are already conducting load management in Spring Training.

Julio Rodriguez seems much to low imo.  He struggled the first month and half of season but was one of best players the last 5 months and coming off a great ROY season.  He would easily be top 10 imo.

I think health is going to be a problem for him.
