The broadcast didn't indicate one way or the other, but you have to think if Coulombe was emergency removed due to an issue, Hyde would say he's injured, and Webb would get as much time as needed to warm up on the mound.

Was kind of thinking the same. He was rolling along. Let him face a couple more and see. No reason to take him out there.

He was close to the max number of pitches he'd thrown this season. His command was faltering. He was in the 6th on what should've been a bullpen day, with practically all of them available.

Managers count on their relievers executing what they're asked to do. If they don't, can't be all on him.

The Twins have a depleted line up already, and Webb can't get the job done against the bottom of the order unfortunately.  Bats are going to have to do something.
