Cowser needs to start throwing a relay to Gunnar and let Gunnar cannon it in. Didn't he see the Mets game last night? The cutoff man won that game with a relay throw to the plate.

Cowser didn't even have to gun that ball that hard to make that assist at home.  He just had to make a solid throw and he'd have nailed Volpe at the plate.
