That's always been the question with Mateo can he put up a .700 OPS over the course of a season. And correct Mateo is quite valuable if he can hit like this. Mateo would be the perfect super sub for this team as the prospects graduate the minor leagues.

Mateo rising form the dead. I really thought he was at best a long term bench guy. If he puts up even a 700+ OPS with his defense and speed that definitely plays.

I think he was pretty banged up even when he was playing last year.  He missed a good bit of time as well.

Yes he was hurt and spend significant time on the IL during the season.
