Just looking at the numbers it looks like Hunt can swing the bat. More than I thought we would get back for Baumann.

He's probably the plan for backup catcher in 2025 while we wait for Basallo to develop as a catcher.

Definitely more than I expected for Baumann. Between him and Maverick Handley we hopefully have our replacement backup catcher for McCann next year.

Hunt was part of the trade where Tampa sent Blake Snell to the Padres in the 20-21 offseason.

PCL is a hitter's league and the league average OPS this season is .805 right now. I do see Hunt as potentially being the backup catcher next year with McCann being a free agent and Basallo is more likely to make is MLB debut later in the year.
