Well to me that is the best illustration on why there re so many arm injuries today.  In 20 years the athlete’s aren’t that much stronger.  They must be throwing the ball all out more often in today’s game than before.  I am not sure how you unring that bell though.

I heard the pitch clock has caused pitcher injuries.

7 innings, 2 runs.

9 straight quality starts.

All time Oriole record is 12 in a row, by Jim Palmer.

Starting to look forward to every one of his starts.  Burnes days are special.

Wonder what he could do if he wasn't as bad as he was tonight?

So far, Burnes hasn't been as sharp as usual....and that lost pop up COULD end up costing  us his length and effectiveness...

With the stuff he has, Burnes should throw more strikes.

Truthfully, Burnes is not that sharp tonight.  But like other top pitchers, he’s minimizing the damage.

The players want to blame it on that but like I said it has more to do with them throwing at max velocity every pitch.

They will be back stronger next year when key individuals return, but now seems like what goes around coming around.     There are still some guys in our organization who remember 18-1.

It is starting to look like the start of Junior Caminero's career might invoive being good enough for the 2023 postseason but a 2024 full of injuries and working on stuff taking up the entire year.

I think those comments are fair.  He was at 62% strike with 6k in 7ip.  He wasn’t super sharp and still dominated.  That just speaks volumes to his talent and ability.  He’s must watch TV.  He’s been incredible and we havnt seen him at his absolute best yet.  I’m so happy he’s on our team.
