7/3 vs Mariners

At least Gunnar made him work.  We were looking at a 7-8 pitch inning for a minute there.   Nice pitch on strike 3.   I know there’s this narrative that Gunner isn’t seeing it well right now etc. but that pitch was just about unhittable.

Well it was bound to happen but GH has officially hit the iceberg wall.

ICE cold.  Not because of the number of bats without a hit but because he can barely make contact. 

Good thing is he was due and can only go up from here.

He's seeing it out of the zone just fine, he's missing middle middle fastballs, though. (That one wasn't clearly).

What I like about our team is we can still win even when Gunnar is striking out. Good starting pitching, and good performances from elsewhere in the lineup. O'Hearn, Santander, even Mullins to an extent, are picking up where Gunnar is leaving off.
