No one is pretending that but there were things about OHearn that made it possible he could become useful…and the same can be said about this guy.

So what?  It means absolutely nothing.  Showing that was just dumb.

OHearn had been a zero in his career but he showed he could have hard contact and getting rid of shifts helped him.  No one knew the impact of getting rid of the shift would have on him but there was at least something to work with.

The point is that KC has proven to let go of talent recently for free, so saying they didn’t do anything with him means absolutely zero.

Baseball is riddled with cast off guys that became something…there are some on this team right now.

It’s a worthwhile attempt..probably turns out to be nothing but he’s a good guy to take on.
