Ayala had better pitch well. This feels like Saturday all over again. If the Orioles' bats did their job they'd have seven or eight runs by now. I'm surprised Saunders was back out there for the seventh, even with the fairly low pitch count.

Saunders pitched well, but he hit a wall. His performance (note: not his stuff, just his results) reminds me of early-season Wei-yin Chen. He would go 5 scoreless and struggle in the 6th, or go 6 scoreless and struggle in the 7th.

Ayala is a kind of guy who likes to let inherited runners score, so let's hope it doesn't happen here.

True, but the situations are very similar. Many scoring chances wasted, only three runs resulted from them, pitcher fades in seventh inning.
