Starting to wonder if the pitchers in Tampa really pitched that well, or if the bats are really just that bad right now. Seems to be a continuing trend regardless of who is on the mound.

I really can't get mad at our hitters right now. Pettitte's making perfect pitches and getting some gifts from Hernandez. Hopefully he'll miss over the plate, and we can get some good hacks on him.

He missed over the plate to Reynolds, and he fanned miserably.

At least AH's strike zone is random to both teams.

After the first inning they realized they needed to take some pitches, but once they did, Hernandez is calling balls strikes on them.

Perhaps a bit of both, but those pitchers were one fire. Hitting their spots, sharp breaking pitches, and some excellent velocity. Everyone of their pitchers against us was better "stuff wise," than any of our current starters. It's incredible they're not in the playoffs.
