I've been a partial season ticket holder (well, part of a group that splits up a two sets of full season tickets) for the Caps for the last, I think, 3 years. October will be my 4th season. Getting to Capital One on a weekday is an absolute nightmare every single time. Fridays are the absolute worst. And I think Cap One is WAY easier to get to than Nats Park. Who thought it would be a good idea to put a stadium at the end of a peninsula? And it's not like 295, 395, 267, and 66 are full of after-work commuters at that time of day, right? It's enough to make me wan to quit the group. In fact, once Ovie breaks the record or retires, I intend to. The fact that it's easier to get from Herndon to Baltimore on a weekday than it is to get from Herndon to downtown DC is absurd. The things we do as fans... Hope your phone turns up, Frobby. How frustrating. -

Sure. It's just not really a thing we need to think about for this year with the team as stacked as it is. Just put him wherever you can for right now. -
Well, I mean, the arm is quite important however. And I agree it would be a greater log jam in the infield with Westy, Holliday, Henderson, Mountcastle and Mayo. We are still a year away from Mayo joining the team and potentially Holliday too. Mateo has played well enough to keep Holliday down a bit longer but we will know a lot more in July as to what the options are for this year and the future. I still think Mayo can stick at third. I wish Mayo was left handed. That’d make this so much easier! -

You can be nostalgic about anything you want. I still want to see somebody hit .400 in my lifetime. But that doesn't mean that's best way to assess runs and wins. I only get a little upset when people turn their nostalgia into "We knew better in the old days than they do now, stop all this xwOBA, WAR gobbeldygook and go back to stuff that matters like pitcher wins and RBI!" -
That sucks, Frobby. At least you threw your phone away. That's annoying, but it beats some dirtball stealing it and making money on it. Or worse with your data.
