No, SSS for the loss. So far at least.

By all means run him out there everyday regardless of results until he hurts himself.

That worked great last season.

I'm talking about claiming sub replacement. Brian looks sturdier than last season. He may get injured but I'm confident he's better than a AAAA replacement.

Can we even foul some pitches off and extend at bats? Everything is 2-3 pitches.Or 1 pitch. Ridiculous.

The ability (or inability) to foul off lots of pitches has always intrigued me. Obviously to some extent hitters can consciously foul off pitches waiting for the perfect one to drive. But it seems to me that most of the time this is not within the direct control of a hitter…or it involves some impossible to predict amalgam of circumstance. Look at this last inning, somehow the Hammel-Yankee interaction went from epically long at bats with lots of fouls to a 12 pitch inning with exactly two foul balls. What the heck was the difference? Did the Yankees suddenly decide to try an Orioles approach at the plate?
