The other, McLouth, was platooned earlier in the season but has played in 36 of the last 37 games (33 starts, three pinch hitting appearances).

I see this as Steve getting acclimated, Casilla, Flaherty, gotta get these guys PT to keep them ready. It's one of my very few criticisms of Buck.

He definitely rides his regulars hard. Probably too hard, but then the bench stinks.

It was more about command than velocity against Houston. Everything was up and meaty.
