Who goes and who stays in 2015

]If Cruz finishes top three in the AL MVP voting' date='[/b'] and roars through the post-season to a World Series MVP award, is there still virtually no way we keep him? It would be quite the catch-22 - his value would soar with such a performance, but, much like the Ravens' Joe Flacco negotiations a few years ago after a Super Bowl win, the team would be nearly forced to re-sign Cruz, from a PR standpoint... right?

Sorry if someone already mentioned a similar possibility - didn't read through all 9 pages...

Pretty much no chance of that happening now.

What say you?

Easy ones-Andrew Miller is gone. Matusz is gone.

My guesses-Hardy is gone

Weiters stays through next year and gets a QO

Davis signs a reasonable LT deal (leap of faith)

Tillman-no clue

Lough is traded for a bag of balls. Orioles declared victor in deal.

Nick the Stick stays for a reasonable deal.

What say you?

I think with the uncertainty of Machado's knees the O's have no choice re-sign Hardy

Cruz is gone he'll get offers we can't match.

Miller is gone

Matusz is gone

Hardy and Markakis sign 3 year deals

Cruz is gone, Orioles receive draft pick compensation

Lough probably stays as 4th OF since he's so cheap

Delmon Young is gone

Hundley is gone

O'Day and Chen's options are both picked up

I also see a trade or two, but those are hard to predict

O's make one reasonable FA signing, possibly for an corner OF (possibly make a run at Cruz, or maybe Melky Cabrera?)

Hardy stays and I think all others who are free agents are gone, including Nick.

Agree with zxlkho on the pickup of the O'Day and Chen options. No-brainers in my estimation.

I think the OF corner positions will be manned by some combination of Lough, De Aza, and Pearce. We'll get another RH guy who will also be in the mix in the OF.

A pitcher is involved in a trade to get a near ready A prospect(s). One of Gonzalez or Norris (trade high). Lough is gone (Daza replaces). Miller closes somewhere. PA will not let Markakis leave even if it stretches the budget. Cruz, Young gone. Biggest question mark is Hardy. He is the only unreplaceable of the bunch.

If De Aza keeps playing like he has, you can book him as our starting LF in 2015.

I would like to see Dr Aza go through an offseason with us, including spring training. Paredes too.

Some of these late season additions look like they'd be much better with more time under our coaches. That may seem egocentric or homerish, but when it comes to mental focus and silly errors, our guys are better than their guys on any given night.

De Aza needs some Oriole time before he becomes a nugget
