No, there is no disabled list for the off-season. The 40-man roster has to be set before the Rule 5 draft.

Why? I understand trying to trade him although I'm not sure how much we would get. But we have him on essentially a one year deal next year. We wouldn't we go to arbitration? Same with Wieters. I would put them in the same boat at this point.

I like this move. Pearce will take care of him. They're are both Gamecock alums. Many who get paid to evaluate talent believe he, (Walker) has the best power in the organization, even here in Baltimore.

That depends on what Cruz wants. I'm for bringing him back at a reasonable price, but I'm not breaking the bank or signing him to a long term deal.
