Toronto looking for New President to be Duquette.

Carfado works for the Boston Globe. The press in Boston ran Dan out of town.

Carfardo has been very complimentary of Duquette as the Orioles' GM. E.g., http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2014/09/06/sunball/pdB2SYj7Uw82XMlhiJEswM/story.html

Beyond that, I wouldn't say the press ran Dan Duquette out of town. John Henry bought the team and had his own ideas about who should run the baseball operations. I don't think the press had much to do with it.

Otherwise, I am done worrying about what will happen with DD and the Jays.

Upon further review, I agree with this post.

It's all about timing...I can't hate on the guy if he wants a promotion but right before the winter meetings was awful timing. I'm hoping he stays though, I'm interested in seeing what he can do with real flexibility and next off-season moves will be happening.

You do understand that Dan and the Blue Jays have not talked. Right?

I believe that Rosenthal may be telling the truth that some such conversations have taken place, and maybe it's possible some O's front office people don't like Dan.

I also believe Peter Angelos when he said that Dan is not going anywhere.

To me the 2nd one is really all that matters.
