Toronto looking for New President to be Duquette.

Bowden thinks there is no way Angelos will let Duquette go, especially considering how good the Duquette/Showalter team has been. Thinks he should give Dan a new title and a big raise.

Jim Duquette flew out on the same plane with Dan.

Duquette would fire Anthopolous and LaCava. Why do you think this got leaked. They are scrambling to save their slots.

My thoughts are very similar, but also see a scenario where an O employee would do it - may as well blow the top off now.

And that's all it does. We still know virtually nothing concrete. We don't even know whether this news breaking when it has has taken the rest of the Orioles organization by surprise. Perhaps the reason for the "no comment" is the announcement that he is leaving the O's has already been choreographed to take place tomorrow and he's just sticking to the script. That's pure speculation but it fits in with all the other speculation, of which there is an abundance.

I am shocked at all of this myself.

Sounds like Pete is breaking out the Vaseline.

DD and Toronto may have underestimated just how stubborn he can be. I can see him paying DD to clean the bathrooms just to make a point until he feels he is compensated commensurate to what he feels he is losing.
