*Don't need to hear from anyone that jinxes don't exist :D

I hate to be that guy but the 1998 Orioles had the same record as the 2015 Orioles at the same point in the season (60-56), won eight out of the next ten to climb to ten games above .500 (68-58) before collapsing down the stretch to finish the year below .500. It's still too early to tell if this team is a true contender or not.

I look at the O's today with Machado, Davis, Jones and Schoop all playing like all-stars (MVPs in Machado & Davis case), their bullpen sporting 5 relievers with a 2.51 ERA or less including arguably the top setup / closer duo in baseball, the #1 defense in baseball in terms of Errors & Fielding Percentage and a future hall of fame manager and I see nothing but positives outside of our inconsistent starting pitching.

Teams get no-hit. Great teams get no-hit. Great teams also have 4-5 west coast swings. To count this team out with 40+ games left makes no sense to me.

I think the O's haven't played their best baseball yet. I think as fans (presumably we're all fans here) we should let the men in orange & black prove to us what they made of on the field before we write them off.

We shouldn't fear the Yankees, Blue Jays & Royals down the stretch - we should be excited to have the opportunity to take them head on. This team has faced stretches that were every bit as tough in the past three years and more often than not, they've dominated their top competition for weeks at a stretch when it counted most.

That's the mark of a great team - they rise to the occasion against the best competition when the season is on the line. After today, we may very well be tied for the 2nd wild card spot. I won't be surprised one bit if this team continues to win right into the playoffs.

Since the no-hitter the O's haven't quit. The least we can do as fans is to follow their lead.

Either the death-knell, or a turning point.

It feels horrible right now because of the no-hitter, but it isn't over.

Let's go, O's.

We're undefeated since the no-hitter.

When the season is over, I want to look back at this and see that this extremely frustrating game which punctuated our disappointing 4-5 West Coast trip was the lowest point of the season (emotionally) since the Orioles started out at 23-29 after 52 games.

I might not get what I want, but that's what I want.

2-0 since the no-hitter.

Keep it up.

3-0 since the no-hitter.

Don't cry over spilled milk and about being no-hit.

Just try your best to win the next game that you play.

The Orioles player that was interviewed right after the game said, "The no-hitter got us all full of piss and vinegar."

Glad to be of service! This team has done a great job of winning at home and beating the bad teams. Glad to see we still have that going. Let's finish off this sweep tomorrow!

More piss and vinegar for the Orioles, please.

God I love Caleb Joseph. That and the people on this board need to CHILL OUT! The O's will make the playoffs, but it doesn't help being negative all the time.
