The Rays fans I know, and yes I do know some, are pretty much resigned to having a very low payroll.

They are a pretty realistic lot with moderate expectations.

You must live on the West Coast of FL, because in my time in FL I met 1 rays fan. The rest I met were scattered across the spectrum of who they liked; which is weird because I lived where the Marlins and the Cardinals have ST, but the only time I saw them was in ST or on the rare trip to Sun Life Stadium.
