The timing of this thread is curious. The O's are about to play 4 games against the worst team in MLB. If everything that is talked about in this thread is still happening on Sunday evening, then is the time for some serious thought about these issues IMO. -
Kyle Stowers was hitting .240 with an OBP of .315 in AAA but with a bunch of home runs. So, we’re going to improve the OBP by replacing Santander with Stowers? -
I'm fine with Baumann not being in the pen. I'd like them to upgrade his spot and Perez' spot as well. -
Again John Means is the product of being a decent pitcher on a horrendous 100+ loss team. People think he’s better than he is because of this. Similar to Cedric and Hays. These guys are replacement. With that being said, hope John the best but he’s probably done as an Oriole. -
We have so many people who are much more qualified to lead this team on this board than Elias and Hyde. There is a real untapped resource for MLB here, they could replace most of the front offices and managers with posters in this thread alone and be much better off for it. Someone should leak the news to MLB. Every teams fans whine about the manager and front office, even more so when they lose a few games.

Sure, and I’m not against some of the ideas even but the post comes across as emotional and reactionary. They didn’t care about defense with Frazier so defense be damned. The 3 seasons prior to joining the Orioles Frazier had an OAA of +5, +2, and a +6 in 2022. They thought they were getting a plus or at least average 2B. He had 91, 104, and 79 PA the first 3 months. Because of his poor defense, he lost time to Westburg in the 2nd half and got 63, 52, and 66 PA over the last 3 months. Frazier had an .871 OPS in July so he didn’t lose playing time because of his offense. It was because of his defense. Don’t let the facts ruin a good story, Brooksie.
