I'm actually in the camp that flaherty can be decent with consistent playing time, but I don't know how he watches those 2 pitches. With 2 strikes, you at least need to foul one off. Opportunity whiffed.

This is just like last year where Flaherty played every day almost when Hardy was out. He was horrible then at the plate and is horrible now. He may be one of the most inept Oriole hitters I have ever seen, including Mark Belanger. Going to be harder to sustain winning over the next weeks with Flaherty in the lineup every day.

I've always like Flaherty. But he looks truly terrible this year.

You know I'm down with OBP but at some point when you don't have speed or defense you need to actually hit.
