I like the call. Fastball count, got a fastball. It is a high percentage play that failed due to atrocious execution. Missing the bunt there is unforgivable at the high school level let alone in the majors.

As hard as it is to hit and field right now, I disagree. A 2-1 pitch, the guy just needs to make contact. any ball that he gets down will be hard for the fielders to make a play on because of the conditions. Good call by Guillen, bad execution by the batter.

You know, you're right. I think what I meant was terrible execution. Hitter HAS to get that bunt down and he didn't.

Runner on third, one out. The batter tries to squeeze, misses/tips it to Hernandez. Hernandez runs him back to third and tags him out. Batter strikes out on the next pitch.
