Looking at batted ball stuff, in June he's at a 22.6 LD% and 41.3% Pull%. Compare that to a horrible 6.0 LD% and a 48.8 Pull% in May, and his career averages of an 18.7 LD% and 40.7 Pull%.

Clues that he's getting out of the slump, if his more Manny-like .289/.333/.553 batting line for June wasn't enough.

They had a reader poll about ownership.  The results for the Orioles follows:

Pretty bad  38.56%

Very bad  35.73%

Average  18.75%

Pretty good  5.54%

Very good  1.42%

It looks like Brady and the owner's sons got their votes in.

The greatest negative differences, by a large margin, belong to the Marlins, Mets, and Orioles. Each of them got a rating below their expected rating by more than a full point. I’ve already talked about the Marlins, and I’ve already talked about the Mets, but as the Orioles go, I’m going to guess there’s some boiled-over frustration over ownership meddling. There’s also just a general distrust that the management team is capable of making the right baseball decisions. Even last time, the Orioles didn’t score well, and now they seem closer to some kind of reckoning. This isn’t the first time you’ve read that Orioles fans are sort of unhappy.

Only Hays made the Fangraphs Top 100 Prospects, authored by Eric Longenhagen and Kiley McDaniel.

He was ranked #90.

Hays had a spectacular breakout 2017 campaign, hitting 32 homers and 32 doubles between High- and Double-A, prompting Baltimore to give him a look in the majors in September. His hands are electric and allow Hays to turn on just about everything, and he tries to, which prompted big-league pitchers to work him down and away. It may take an approach adjustment for Hays to max out his offensive potential, as he’s overly aggressive and his style of hitting may be exploited in the majors. But he has bat speed and power and should play an above-average right field (or be better than Adam Jones in center) fairly soon.

Sisco made the list of "Other Prospects in Consideration" after being ranked #85 last year.

Not sure how you can put up the season that Hays did last year and come in at #90.  Are we really supposed to believe that there are 89 better prospects out there?

Hayes is good, but his lack of walks and only average in CF hurts his prospect value. Would you trade him for a top 50 SP? I probably would if he was in AAA.
