I can't believe the Orioles let Gentry go. He was one of Buck's favorite players. Who would have ever thought that the Orioles would carry three catchers. Can someone please explain this? Caleb barely plays the way it is.

Maybe they are trying to move one of them and this gives them time. Can't imagine them carrying three catchers for any length of time.

Per Roch, Gentry cleared waivers and will report to Norfolk, so that's good.

Did we really think Gentry would get claimed? Every team has these fringe guys on the roster already. Insane we were so scared to lose a guy like Gentry we carry a 6 man pen.

I can't believe the O's killed their bullpen trying to keep a career AAAA guy.  Most teams have a couple guys like Gentry.  Great outfield glove but can't hit their weight.
