BTW, if Bynum was given a steal, that's a bad call. Mauer is good at throwing base runners out, Bynum is not especially good at stealing bases, and Markakis has been smoking the ball the last few at bats.

Wow, talk about some bad baseball. First Roberts can't get the runner in from third then Freddie Bynum says to himself, "Hey, I'm Freddie Bynum, how can I screw this inning up some more?" So he goes and gets picked off. Then Markakis hits his second rocket of the game right at an outfielder and the Orioles officially blow a 1st and third with no outs.

I guess the good news is we're up 5-2...

There is always a silver lining, and at least tonight the silver lining is that we are winning.

Usually when we make this many mistakes, we are behind and having to play catchup. Hopefully we eliminate them from here on out and secure the W.

Even if it was, Bynum needs to know when a pick off move is coming...

Jones stole on Mauer earlier in the game, so it is a good possibility it was a steal sign.
