Jeffrey Hammonds is 47 now.  Wow.  Wish I'd seen him play healthy.

Glad I saw Harold Baines hit at all.

Last time I saw Jeffrey Hammonds play was the very end of his career, he finished as a part time player for the Nationals in their first year in DC.   Only had about 40 at bats or something like that.   He had 1 RBI, and it was at a game I was at...an RBI single in the bottom of the 9th to beat Milwaukee 1-0 at RFK Stadium.   The first walkoff win in Nationals histroy and the last RBI for Jeffrey Hammonds in the majors and the only run of the game.

With Manny at 3rd?    Yeah.......in retrospect............

Hardy can’t hit, but with Beckham sporting a .581 OPS I tend to think we’d have done a bit better with Hardy overall.    Ah well, either way we would have stunk.

Harold Baines always struck me as a smart dude.  I know he was a coach for the ChiSox for a little bit, not sure in what capacity but I wonder if he'd be a good hitting instructor.

I had beers with his wife in St. Michaels a few years ago.  Nice lady.

Palmer, Murray, and Brooks are all employees of the Orioles.

There are two living Orioles Hall of Famers left.

Will Frank and Cal also be hired as Orioles ambassadors?

I dont think Frank's health issues will allow it.

I dont think Cal has any role in this team, with Angelos as owner.

Does Harold know about that? :)

It was during WineFest.  I'm not a wine drinker, but for the price of the ticket, I was pounding every sample all day.  (little did I know you're supposed to swish it around and then spit it out.  Go figure.)  Anyway, by the time we got to the brewery there, I was sloshed and going on and on about what a big O's fan I am.  She was very polite, posed for a picture, and then moved on.  Not one of my best moments.
