Any thoughts on who will likely be the hardest draftees to sign?

Henderson seems like the tough sign. You’d think they’d have a number that they are comfortable with on him picking him that highly, but it’s possible he fell and they were just like hey, we’ll pick him and make him turn down 3M.

But in the end I expect him to sign, like 95%+.

Hernaiz wants to sign. The other top ten round guys are juniors or seniors they’ll sign.

The late round preps won’t sign unless something goes wrong with Henderson and they throw the overslot targeted at him to one of the other guys.

The only guy who seems like he might be a 50/50 shot type is 24th round pick Andrew Martinez. He’s a Sophomore but almost 22, he’s actually a fairly interesting prospect, he’ll probably need some overslot.

Good stuff.  And from quotes I've seen from Henderson from before the draft, he is lazer focused on doing whatever gets him to the majors quickest - and presumably that's playing pro baseball asap.

If anyone's interested in seeing three of the top 12 picks, this game from the NCAA Regionals was just posted. Playing for Stanford are Kyle Stowers (our 2nd Round Competitive Balance-B pick at #71), Maverick Handley (6th round, #168), and Andrew Daschbach (11th round, #318 pick).

Throughout the game, the athleticism of Stowers and skills at 1B for Daschbach show up, and the announcers (JT Snow and Sam Ravech, ESPN) repeatedly remark upon Handley's ability to receive the ball/frame pitches (in particular how he helps out the true freshman starter).
