Sparkman really likes Mclarty. Has the most expected war of out pitching prospects after Grod, Hall, Rom, and Akin.

It’s just stat based projection, (similar to Katoh) so the season Rom has at 19 in full season ball is extremely strong.

And just so everyone knows, I didn’t mean it was “just a statistical projection” in a dismissive way. This is probably the best publicly available system with Katoh gone dark.

Sorry, yes, the number on the left is the Sparkman number with 1 being the highest rated.

And if McLarty provides more value than Mize, Liberatore, Kowar, Singer, and the others, he's definitely a draft steal. That would be amazing.

Feel like a statistical model worth it's weight would just fade numbers in short season for college players. Rom makes sense for being a 19 year old in full season. McLarty numbers should just really be N/A right now. IMO

It’s mostly from his college numbers, this model takes college performance into effect.
