This doesn’t seem well thought out. “Colton Cowser can slide over to CF and play there every day, while Kjerstad can be installed as the new everyday LF with Kyle Stowers getting regular at bats in RF against righties and some lefties. Connor Norby can get at bats as the DH against LHP whenever Adley isn't DHing, and Norby can also split some time in RF with Santander against LHP.” If I read this right, Kyle Sowers is the new RF and he gets ABs against all RHP and some LHp. Connor Norby can also play RF against some LHP. So that leaves Santander with the other AB against LHP. So, the guy with the 1.000 OPS against LHP is going to have his AB against LHP decreased. That’ll show him. That’s the punishment for slumping against RHP. -
All of that with watered down pitching in AAA. -
The timing of this thread is curious. The O's are about to play 4 games against the worst team in MLB. If everything that is talked about in this thread is still happening on Sunday evening, then is the time for some serious thought about these issues IMO. -
Kyle Stowers was hitting .240 with an OBP of .315 in AAA but with a bunch of home runs. So, we’re going to improve the OBP by replacing Santander with Stowers?

I'm fine with Baumann not being in the pen. I'd like them to upgrade his spot and Perez' spot as well.

Again John Means is the product of being a decent pitcher on a horrendous 100+ loss team. People think he’s better than he is because of this. Similar to Cedric and Hays. These guys are replacement. With that being said, hope John the best but he’s probably done as an Oriole. -
We have so many people who are much more qualified to lead this team on this board than Elias and Hyde. There is a real untapped resource for MLB here, they could replace most of the front offices and managers with posters in this thread alone and be much better off for it. Someone should leak the news to MLB. Every teams fans whine about the manager and front office, even more so when they lose a few games.
