Hays to IL with rib fracture, Mullins up, Lopez activated

Tough break (no pun intended) for Hays. Rib fractures are around 6-week injuries which would bring him back just in time for the playoffs.

Too bad McKenna hasn't been hitting.

Hopefully Mullins takes advantage of the opportunity, otherwise it could be Mason Williams time.

I know he hasn’t hit yet but this hurts.

Outs Above Average I haven't seen for this year yet, but have not heard massive complaints.  For getting all our best stuff to the field, him being able to cover CF really helps, even if it is Fred Lynn mode.  Jury's out on if he will be worse than that - there was a time early Adam Jones had to chase the brittle monster away too.

Yes. No doubt and he wasn’t same type of defender. Not a perfect comp but some similarities.

About as well as Santander and Dwight Smith, Jr.. He could play it in a pinch but he would be a liability out there, and not someone you would want penciled in every day.
