On the bright side, that fan got the coolest in-game souvenir possible, his glove.

"While López said something after the call, it wasn’t aggressive until De Jesus responded, at which point, it did escalate. Not to harp on it, but umpires: Stop making things worse on purpose.

I’m defending López, exactly. On his way off the mound, he threw his glove into the stands. Cool souvenir, but not exactly professional. After the game, he insisted he did not regret doing that, going on to say that either the Mets were the “worst team in the whole f—ing MLB” or he has looked like “the worst teammate, probably, in the whole f—ing MLB.” "

They are coming in pairs now.

Teammates Means and Wells elbow surgery announced in one press release.

A few days later, teammates Urquiddy and Javier elbow surgery announced in one press release.

And now the Brewers might be making a similar announcement.

Maybe the surgeons have a Groupon or something for 2-for-the-price-of-1 Tommy John surgery.

Mike Baumann came on for Seattle to save a 3-1 game in the ninth. Struck out the first two, then gave up a loud double and an absolute bomb to blow the save.

They brought on Austin Voth in the bottom of the 10th with a 6-3 lead and he immediately gave up a home run to Hunter Renfroe to make it 6-5, then he put the tying run on with a single. He did then get the next two out, including Bobby Witt, and gets the hold.

Hall (knee) will join Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday to resume his rehab assignment, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Hall experienced a setback with his sprained left knee during his second rehab appearance May 23. He's expected to eventually require a platelet-rich plasma injection or possibly surgery for the knee, but for now, he'll attempt to pitch through the injury. Given that he's been on the injured list since April 20 and hasn't made a rehab appearance in about three weeks, Hall will likely require multiple outings at Nashville to get fully stretched out before he's an option for the Milwaukee rotation.

I wish Hall a full and successful recovery, but Joey Ortiz has been doing so well that, considering Burnes was only going to be around for one more year, the Brewers might very well consider the trade a win anyway.

I doubt Ortiz will have an 800+ OPS all year but I guess its possible. Right now the trade looks like a win for both teams. Milwaukee of course gets 5 more years after this to fully reap the benefits.
