He had a great MLB video game back in the very early days of baseball.

I never cared for his baseball manager style. Thought he was hard on his pitchers.

I saw on MLB Network today that Friday GM Ken Williams addressed the team and staff about the lack of performance.

It was characterized as a "come together" type meeting, you're still talented, etc., but perhaps peculiar for the GM to have that kind of task.

Not for another month or three please.     I don't know if we can beat that team yet without the help.    Very easy to imagine CWS going off with anyone else ala the Angels a little bit after the Maddon-Nevin change.     

Nickelback walkups, brawls and a ~10-20 record as Phil's medium-term results show it isn't a cure-all.
