Hanifee has TJ surgery

Glad the operation went well, sorry that it was necessary.   I’d wondered what happened to him.

I'm honestly surprised the organization only had two TJ surgeries after most players missed the year last year. Hopefully Hanifee is one of those guys who will come back and throw harder. I liked the stuff and upside a few years ago.

Speaking of pitchers who’ve had TJ surgery, I wonder how Hanifee’s rehab is going?  It’s been about 11 months since his surgery.    I hope we’ll see him sometime this summer.

I remember when Bedard was a top prospect, 6 of the 7 O's top pitching prospects were out with arm injuries.  Just saying it's been worse in the past.

Same doctor as Means - good news!  No biggie - right - like losing a prostate or replacing a knee.  Wake up, walk out and start rehab!

It is promising.  Not sure if that means we'll see him by June or sometime before the season is over.

Well if he's on the Baumler pitching progression program we'll see him in minor league action next spring. Maybe.
