Right. That'll be the configuration through the WS but now the Dodgers have their shortstop for next year and don't have to pay Seager, or they get him at a discount. 

They're just loaded with talent.

O'Dowd is a wizard or someone tipped him off that the Dodgers were looking to acquire Scherzer and Turner.

Chavez Ravine is a printing press.  Plus their TV money.

I believe they began the season $40-50 million over the cap.  Their payroll was $250 million or there abouts.

I believe in free enterprise, but they are obscene.  How can Arizona and Colorado compete with that ?

I would like to slam them hard, too.  But they're an incredibly well run franchise.  Gotta tip the hat to them, they scout, draft, int'l sign and develop better than anyone.  And they pony up to keep their talent, too.

Current issues aside Bauer was a misstep.  He was bragging about cheating in his big year.  He's a huge jackass and constant distraction.

If Mariners are trying to to go for it and maintain a controllable player Fry makes a ton of sense, along with some other teams.
