We don't have anyone hitting well enough this year. It makes perfect sense our rep will be a pitcher. Lopez is certainly deserving.

Maybe we can ruin a team's playoff chances.  It's hard to decide between Boston or Toronto.

The hope that 2022 could resemble 2011 (69 wins, capped by the Reimold/Andino heroics on the last day of the season to eliminate the RS), and that the next few seasons could be something remotely resembling 2012-14, seemed awfully dim until recently. But at least the first part doesn't seem crazy now.
