You're right, that's an example where you want to slide into 1B because you're (Mateo) avoiding a tag.

Of course they all have the green light, especially your 2-4 hitters, but to put a swing like that on a 3-0 count in your third AB against that guy is pretty awful.

Correct.  As good as our bullpen has been, I just want to see them get a bigger cushion.  The Pirates suck, but they have some guys that can make you worry.

He’s in a pretty atrocious funk in spite of his prior AB.
