This is true.  I remember no one else was after Cobb or Ubaldo when we signed them.

Though, apparently ,there were other suitors for Gibson...

I think it likely they were already in on Bassitt.  Kinda hard to see Bassitt as a fallback from Gibson.

Heard we were really close on getting Correa last year and just missed out this year. Elias working the phones hard but not to be. Now on to Rodon. The Orioles are feathering up as Boras said
